Anna Rose is a graduate of the Physiotherapy program at McGill University. She continued her studies at Brock University, completing a Master’s of Applied Disability Studies in 2009. For 5 years, Anna served low-income clients working as a community physiotherapist in the Toronto area, before working as a Care Coordinator for the Waterloo-Wellington LHIN.
A love for travel has taken Anna to China, India, New Zealand, Alaska, Central America, and as well as travelling extensively throughout Europe and North America. Over the last 15 years, Anna has spent time enjoying the outdoors through her passion for canoe tripping and wilderness camping. She currently holds Level D and Canoe Tripping qualifications through the Ontario Recreational Canoe and Kayak Association (ORCKA), as well as Bronze Med/Bronze Cross through the Lifesaving Society of Canada. Anna is also an accomplished musician, having performed in various groups and musical theatre productions in Southern Ontario.
In addition to serving as Director of EMT Canada, and functioning as our main Administrator, Anna teaches a range of emergency care programs from Basic First Aid and Wilderness First Aid to some of our more advanced programs.
