EMT Canada is proud to announce that they have partnered with Para-Mentors to issue the 2020 Ontario Primary Care Paramedic Field Guide. This must-have pocket reference for paramedics which has been published for 15 years has sold over 13,000 copies.
“We’re excited to be partnering with the expertise of the Para-Mentors team,” said Jeff Frenette, the original author and editor of the Ontario Paramedic Field Guide and EMT Lead Instructor Trainer, “as pre-hospital educators and working medics, they bring their combined experience to creating a relevant resource for paramedics in 2020 and beyond.”
The book has been completely revamped from its 2018 edition, with all content revisited to create a valuable reference complemented by enhanced content to meet the paramedics’ increasing scope of care. This guide covers topics including current BLS patient care standards, Ontario specific protocols, current medical directives, enhanced ECG content, an enhanced medication section, updated CTAS content, and current cardiac life support.
The book will be available through Para-Mentors exclusive distributor beginning this fall.
