EMT Canada is happy to announce the release of their online blended learning platform. In light of the ongoing COVID pandemic, we are taking steps to ensure that training can continue with our valued clients’ safety at the top of mind. This platform delivers the same quality of training that reflects the richness of our in-person classes.

The blended learning program cuts in half the time required for in-person training, reducing production downtime and maximizing employee availability for our corporate clients. Participants are expected to complete an approximately 6-hour self-guided training, featuring videos, quizzes, and other interactive modules designed by our expert instructors. This self-guided training will prepare them for the skills they will practice during the in-class portion of instruction.

Currently, the blended learning platform is available for our Standard First Aid program, with plans to expand it to include CPR-BLS and First Responder courses in the near future. 

This program is approved by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario in accordance with Regulation 1101 and the First Aid Training Criteria provided by the WSIB.
